We had our first trip to Croyde Bay in June with our 20 month old son and it was absolutely brilliant! There was plenty to do on site for all the family to enjoy, the beach is a stones throw away and only a 10 minute walk into town! The site was lovely and peaceful both during the day and the evening, staff were really helpful and polite, facilities nice and clean would absolutely suggest booking if you haven’t!
Brilliant location very near the beach. Clean comfortable rooms. We booked a family room that could sleep four. Very affordable and lovely friendly service.
Lovely stay was booked as surprise 11 wedding anniversary. Room was bigger than expected clean and staff were very welcoming from cheek in to our evening meal and even cheek out was smoth were told we were able to stay on site for the day.
This hotel is fantastic value for a family stay. We booked for a couple of nights by the beach and the location couldn't have been better, right by the sand dunes and down into the bay. More peaceful than the centre of Croyde, and a there was a lovely welcome on arrival. Our room was spotless. There is also lots on offer for kids, like outdoor games and the pool. My only criticisms would be having a creaky bed/floor - not ideal when you're all sharing a room! - and the cooked breakfast was a bit greasy. But overall we'd definitely return!
Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed me to leave my car in the car park for a day, whilst I walked from Ilfracombe to Croyde. Facilities are very good for the reasonable price paid, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to set you up for the day. Location behind the dunes is perfect if you want to spend time on the beach, and a short walk in to the village for pubs and shops. However, the hotel has a restaurant and bar on site and everything you need.
Nice location and good price. Facilities good and close to beach. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good parking. Some areas don't allow dogs including the beach in summer so takes awhile to find routes you're allowed on
Excellent choice for our late summer holiday and the kids loved it with the all inclusive activities, beach access and lovely breakfast. The beach is rightly covered as one of the best in the world for surfing. Spotless, We will be back! Special shoutout to the staff, who were outstanding . Rooms could do with some updating a few more choices at breakfast for cold beverages and nut based snacks, and maybe some more lunch options. The place is easy to access and parking is free. Overall rated is excellent.
Brilliant for access to a good surfing beach. Great for families with younger kids. Surprisingly good food in the restaurant for this kind of holiday camp
